I’m Dahlia, a Licensed Esthetician and Brazilian Wax Specialist, and the owner of The Bush Barber. The Bush Barber was created to be a cozy, judgment-free space where clients of all genders feel comfortable, respected, and confident. I specialize in comfort-focused Brazilian waxing, especially for nervous or first-time clients, and I’m known for being thorough, detail-oriented, and never rushed. A little about me personally: I was born and raised in Massachusetts, met my fiancé in New Mexico, and somehow found myself moving to Texas while seven months pregnant with our daughter. I bring a little East Coast attitude, a lot of care, and a carefully curated alternative playlist into every appointment. With four years of experience and specialized training in Brazilian waxing, my approach is education-forward, body-positive, and trauma-informed. I love waxing for the immediate results and the confidence boost that comes with them. My goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable, informed, and excited you booked with me. Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, I began my journey in the beauty industry at the Aveda Institute, where I laid the foundation for my craft. After graduating, I had the incredible opportunity to work at a Top 100 salon, learning firsthand from some of the most talented and influential stylists in the industry. I soaked up every bit of knowledge I could, and that passion for growth still drives me today. I’m known for being meticulous and personable, which I take great pride in. I specialize in blonding, extensions, and precision short cuts. I just love making people feel more confident and beautiful. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me with my family—I’m married to my best friend, and together we’re raising two beautiful children (and a couple of lovable fur babies). Staying active keeps me inspired, whether I’m cycling, kayaking, lifting, or flowing through a yoga class.
